Lee joined the church staff as the Administrative Assistant in March of 2014. Prior to this she worked for 15 years at The Coca-Cola Company, taking early retirement from the position of financial reporting analyst. Lee graduated from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton with a B.S. in Special Education and a Master in Education for Guidance and Counseling. After teaching for five years Lee went into real estate for 10 years before joining Coke, starting there as a senior administrative assistant.

Lee is a lifelong United Methodist and joined Newnan FUMC when she and George, her husband of 32 years, moved to Newnan in 2004 to care for Lee's parents. They are members of the Agape Sunday School class and volunteers for the Newnan Job Networking ministry. George is retired from the IT industry and is currently pursuing a writing career. George and Lee enjoy boating on the lake, going to the beach and cooking together. They also have a Chihuahua named Sophie who they claim is only a little bit spoiled.

"His purpose was to equip God's people for the work of serving and building up the body of Christ until we all reach the unity of faith and knowledge of God's Son. God's goal is for us to become mature adults - to be fully grown, measured by the standard of the fullness of Christ."
