Welcome to Senoia UMC’s Ministry with Children! Our prayer is that we will embody Christ’s love, reaching out to the families of our community, embracing them in a caring fellowship and empowering them to share God’s grace in the world. We strive to provide all family members with solid theological formation, fun and engaging fellowship, holy worship, and a variety of opportunities to serve God as we serve one another. Through our ministry with children, we hope that all persons will encounter the love of God in truly transformational ways.

Children's Sunday School: 9:45am

For ages 4  to 5th grade meet upstairs in the Kid’s Sunday School Classroom each Sunday morning at 10:00. This is a fun time for all of the kids, watching a DVD, hearing a story, and making a craft.

(The Youth class has been moved to the Open Book Room, fka “Turret” Room.)

Join in the Fun!

Children's Choir: Meet Wednesday evenings (during school year) at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary

Cantaré: Our younger singers will begin their choir year on Wednesday, Sept 8, as we begin Wednesday night suppers. As we have in past years this group will rehearse from 6:30- 7:00. We are also learning how to use the Handbells this year!
This year Cantaré will include children in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Cantaré Plus: This youth group, Cantaré Plus, is for singers in grades 5-8. They will practice when Miss Nancy calls for it.

We will take part in worship and also rehearse in a variety of ways- sometimes all together and sometimes as individual groups. Lori Kolbenschlag and Nancy Lewis will be working with this group again this year and look forward to another great year!
